Tournament Guidelines

Announcements & Posted Rules at the Tournament Will Supersede These Guidelines

Pets:               NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

Team Entry Fee:    $250 for Fast Pitch Tournaments "TEAMS MUST BRING 2 GAME BALLS"
                                           $150 for Machine Pitch and Slow Pitch Tournaments

                                

Admission:    $10.00 / Person tournament entry fee. Children under 16 get free admission.
                               Players in uniform are free.   2 coach passes and 1 scorekeeper pass for each team.
                               No refunds on admission fees if rained out. Tickets will be honored if the tournament is rescheduled.

Playing Rules:    All Tournaments & age groups will follow ASA rules for division A tournament play with minor exceptions such as time limits & run rules.

Batting and Substitutions: In non-qualifying tournaments teams can use free substitution and bat your line up. You must inform the Umpire before each game. How you start the game is how you must end the game.

Game Structure:    (4) Game structure with  (2) Seeding  games followed by  double elimination tournament:
                                        

Run Ahead Rule:  (12) Runs after (3) innings, (10) Runs after (4) innings,  (8) Runs after (5) innings.
Time Limit:  Seeding Games will be 75 minutes. Bracket games will be 75 Minutes. Championship games are 7 innings.

Rainout Policy:    Full refund if all of your games are rained out. 1/2 Refund if you play only 1 game. 
                                       No refund if you play 2 or more games. No refund of gate fees.

Rain Changes:    Weather and other conditions beyond control may result in changes to the tournament format.
                                        These changes could include one or more of the following:
                                        Shortened game times.
                                        Playing all night.
                                        Very early or very late games.
                                        Cancellation of one or more divisions or age groups.
                                        Change to the tournament structure.
                                        Games at other locations.
                                        Games on the practice field.
                                        Cancellation of Seeding Games                                       
                                       

Score Keeping:  A scorer's deck is located behind the back stop of each field.
                                     Both teams are to provide a Scorekeeper for each game.
                                     There is to be "NO COACHING FROM SCORE DECK"

                            The team listed as HOME will provide a Scorekeeper to keep the scorebook.
                                     The team listed as VISITOR will provide a Scorekeeper to run the scoreboard.

      If you cannot make the tournament you must give 15 days notice in order to receive a refund. 
                                   Less than 15 days notice: No refund.

Check-in:      You must check in at least 60 minutes before your 1st game. All players must be present and have proof of age.

Warming Up
Your Team:  
For safety reasons, do not warm up your team between the softball fields as this is the spectator area.
                              Do not hit or throw balls of any type against any fence or structure in the park.

Batting Cage:    Batting cages are available on a 1st come basis. Please limit your cage time to 45 minutes.
 

T-Ball Field:       TBall will be in full swing. No practices allowed on the T-Ball field.

Alcohol:         No alcohol is permitted on or around the playing fields or spectator areas.

Tobacco:        No tobacco of any type is permitted in the playing areas.

Coolers:        Please do not bring food or soft drinks in the park. Please support our concession stand.

Water:               Team water coolers & water bottles are encouraged.
                               Water jugs will also be in each dugout for players and coaches.

Pets:               NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. Yes, this rule is listed twice. Pets will be sent home.

Shade:              Canopies,  umbrellas, hats, and sunscreen are all recommended.
